Look for winter

I love winter! The jackets, scarfs, boots, gloves, everything! This definitely sums up the look for winter 2010. Minus the hair, i think anyone could pull this off. We all have jeans, blazer, jersey and scarf. I can't wait for it to get really cold.

Loving it

This woman looks amazing. Everything from the suit to her watch. She's pretty and reminds me of how badly I want to go to France. They have a lot to teach me about fashion.

WTF

I'm not sure about these dresses. I'm not surprised about Mariah Carey. Zoe Saldana had an interesting dress, but maybe better suited for an Alice in Wonderland costume. The chic from Twilight looks very old, dark and miserable. Oscar night, bit more energy please.

After all these years of trying to avoid acting or looking her age, Madonna has unintentionally ended up looking like a 51year old Italian Mama and she looks good. Could it be that the queen of reinvention has finally revealed her true self?

The power of black

Ok, so Milan and London fashion weeks are over and overall Black was the colour of choice for autunm/winter 2010 (winter 2011 for us). I think black has such a presence. It doesn't draw attention to itself. What I've seen with colour is that, thats the first thing you notice about an outfit and everything doesn't matter. The Bottega Veneta dress wouldn't have been so beautiful to look at if it was any other colour. It's made wonderfully, that tulle material and layers, every detail is visible. That's what fashion is about.

Je m'appelle Vanya

Met Vanya at Sandton City, in a corner I never go to. I loved her pants and she was pretty as well. I'm not sure what she does, but she lives in Belguim and has a stylist. Lucky Lady
